Our first day in Italy! Today, we headed to the older buffalo mozzerella farm in the world, where we learned all about the process of making mozzarella, the history, the land, the culture, and where their farm is today. The farm was absolutely gorgeous, and we split up into groups where everyone got to feed and pet a baby buffalo and break off hot mozzerela with their hands!

We finished the farm off with a lunch of bruschetta, a fresh mozzerela ball, buffalo milk ricotta with honey, and a little buffalo milk gelato at the end. After that, we loaded the bus again and headed towards the city of Naples. There, we took a fascinating tour of the Galeria Borbonica. We learned LOTS about the history and numerous uses of the tunnel over time which were interesting, educating, and touching.

After that, we got a bit of free time to look around Naples a bit, grab a little gelato, and then head to our pizza making class! There, we learned from professional Italian pizza makers how to make a margherita pizza. Everyone got to eat their own pizza, and every single one was scrumptuos! Then, we went back to the hotel for dinner.
